What’s next, Wild Florida?!

Posted by Sam Haught on Feb 22, 2016 12:07:46 PM

Things are constantly changing here at Wild Florida… in a good way!  We want visitors to experience the best we have to offer out here in the Middle of Nowhere, Florida—from our airboats and animals to everything in between! So we’re always thinking how to amp up the fun, improve what we’ve got, and find new ways to delight you and your family! First came our airboat tours out here at the Headwaters of the Everglades—literally in Wild Florida’s backyard. That was our focus when we opened nearly six years ago. Today we’ve got a whole fleet of U.S. Coast Guard-certified airboats and nine.

Wild Florida airboat captains: Meet PJ!

Posted by Sam Haught on Feb 16, 2016 9:00:00 AM

A trip to Wild Florida is incomplete without an airboat ride. (It’s bucket-list worthy, folks!) We’ve got a fine fleet here at beautiful Lake Cypress in the Middle of Nowhere, FL. And every single one of us has had an impact on how Wild Florida has taken shape over the years.   Ranier is a prominent Orlando attorney who was also raised in the City Beautiful. He moved the clan to rural St. Cloud in the.

Posted by Sam Haught on Dec 26, 2015 4:01:16 PM

Wild Florida is home to exotic animals, birds, and reptiles from around the world, including the swamps of Central Florida. It’s also where our very own master carpenter Kenny Colbert rests his head at night. He’s a rare breed himself, a backwoods kinda guy who helped build Wild Florida from the ground up. He lives right here on the property and takes care of it after hours. Talk about being close to your job. (Don’t worry, we let him outta here once in a while!) Kenny joined our staff years before the Wildlife Park officially opened to the public in 2014. He’s become part of the family and.
